Sandiaga Uno Promises If Selected, There Is a Minister Filled From Millennials
PojokPos. Candidate for Vice President number 02 Sandiaga Uno promised that he would be elected to give a ministerial position to millennials. Sandi said there were four ministerial seats that were worthy of being led by youth.
Sandi explained that the four chairs included three ministers of youth and sports, the minister of communication and informatics, and the minister of research and technology.
Meanwhile, one other chair to be filled by millennials is one that is still related to the present. This strategic position he believes will be more developed if led by young people.
"The position that I mentioned was very closely related to youth. It is time for us to entrust the minister's position to the millennials," Sandi said, in Palembang, Friday, December 7, 2018.
He explained, the position of minister of youth and sports could be mandated towards millennials who had an understanding in youth organizations and the world of sports. According to him, the position will be in line with the minister's abilities.
Likewise also with the position of minister of communication and informatics and minister of research and technology. Especially in the current era which is dominated by technology and digital, young people should be prioritized.
"So this is a matter of young people who understand. The Minister of Communication and Information must talk about information and communication, so the Minister of Research and Technology must be millennial. Because now it is dominated by friends who are engaged in the world of technology and digital," he explained.
According to Sandi, he and the presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto wanted to believe in the young people about the vision and mission of the Prosperous Fair Coalition. He also opened the widest opportunity for the involvement of millennials in the wheels of government.
"Young people can join, we open opportunities as wide as we can. We convey that the baton is already running. Not in 2024, but it has begun in 2019," Sandi said.
